Chinese artist Liu Bolin is well-known as the invisible man for good reason. He has become famous for his camouflage art which makes people become invisible to others. With the help of two assistants, he carries out the performances of painting his body to blend in with the nearby background in order to make himself invisible and then he stands silently in front of his chosen scenes. Most passers-by can’t realize he is there until he begins to move. Liu Bolin has performed his works across the global for the past five years. This 38-year-old man has also created a lot of images with his works in many locations around the world. Each photo can take up to ten hours to set up. Liu Bolin is expected to take part in a new exhibition at the Eli Klein Fine Art Gallery in New York in 2011.
