The list of the most admired man and woman in the United States has recently been released. The list is based on a poll held throughout the country. 22% of Americans considered President Barack Obama as the man they most admire. This helps set Obama in the No.1 position in the list of Most Admired Man. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton ranks as the most admired woman by people living in the U.S, named by 17%. Other people are also named in the list including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama and so on.

President Barack Obama was selected as the most admired man in 2010. Obama has ranked this position for 3 consecutive years. However, his percentage has fallen over the years. He led the list with 32 percent in 2008 and 30 percent in 2009
