After Natalie Portman won a lot of honorable prizes including Oscar and Golden Globes in 2011 thanks to her role as crazed ballerina Nina in “Black Swan”, this beautiful actress’s filming career seems more radiant and successful. Besides this movie, audiences have recently gone to the cinema watching “No Strings Attached”, which she excellently plays a doctor being too busy for one proper relationship.

In her first film role, Portman acted a young girl coming home to discover a corrupt DEA agent that murders her entire family. She then learns how to revenge and falls in love with a hitman. "Anywhere But Here" (1999)
At first, Portman refused the leading role in “Anywhere But Here” because she didn’t want to act some “sensitive” scenes. However, the screenplay later had changed a little bit so that this film could be appropriate to her. Fortunately, the talent was nominated 1999 Golden Globe Awards’ Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.

"Closer" (2004)
In “Closer”, Portman had an opportunity to cooperate with several famous stars like Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Clive Owen. The film won a number of awards and nominations, in which “Black Swan” star took home the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture.

"V for Vendetta" (2006)
In order to play the role in “V for Vendetta”, Portman shaved her head and learnt to speak with a British accent. It's her first starring role after a whole decade of distinguished supporting turns. Thanked to this movie, she took home a Constellation Award for Best Female Performance and a Saturn Award for Best Actress.
